okay, i fixed that but now everytime I open a new window, the window underneath it freezes. And also this stupid WinFixer thing won't stop popping up every few minutes even though my pop up blocker is turned on. Help?

WinFixer = Spyware

Try running adaware or spybot search and destroy and see if that gets rid of it. May or may not work though cause some of those are hard to remove.

thanks, I'll have to try that. Do you know if WinFixer is what's causing the screen to freeze all the time?

it will automatically download install and run many applications that will 'clean' your pc

even if you dont have any problems, i recommend trying it

I think it does. You can just google WinFixer and it will come up with all sorts of information on it but I believe I do remember reading something like that it does that.

okay, i just installed it and now ad-aware, which i had on my computer before, is gone. How do I get it back?
