Hey everyone! I'm new here, but I have a question for a friend.

This is what he sent me:
"This has been bothering me for a LONG time... but I remember an Alternative rock song from mid to late 2003 or early 2004 and all I can remember is a bass guitar that kept the beat, and the singer was just kind of saying the words, not really singing... something like... "She's in the ground, she's in the water" I could be completely wrong with the lyrics... but I want to know who that group is, cause I like that song... oh and I caught an early episode of "Pimp My Ride" where they played the bass guitar section during an unveiling...

I know this description is extremely vague, but any ideas would be great. It may help to point out that I know for certain it is not The White Stripes, or Cake.

It is a male singer... those are the only lyrics that I can remember, and I am not sure if they are right. If it helps the Bass guitar has a steady beat, and the first 8 notes are the same then the next 8 notes change, and it just gets repeated through the song. The last time I heard the song was probably almost 2 years ago.

I think the episode of Pimp my Ride that had that song was the one with the older 50s or 60s Chevy, that belonged to some chick... I know it was a chicks car for sure! I don't normally watch Pimp My Ride, but I was channel surfing, and caught the beat... it is an unmistakable beat/rythm."


So yeah, that's where we are right now. If anyone has any idea what song this is, or how I could find out, that would be great! Thank you!

hello people. i need help to find a song. Pimp My Ride SEASON 1 Episode 15 "Kerry's Ford Escort" OR "Kerry's Scion XB"


This song starts playing in the background in the beginning of the episode when, Kerry is showing us his car.

To be more specific, the song starts just after Kerry has finished saying the below sentence >>>

"Whats up!! My name is Kerry. I'm 19 years old and this is my 89 ford escort"

the song plays for around 15 seconds.

please reply as soon as possible. this tune is stuck in my head for too long now and its killing me.

Its killing me trying to find out the name of this song

Its in episode 14 when gaby shows her land cruiser to xzibit, it sounds like an old song, not rap or anything, it comes before xzibit goes to the wheel arch and looks at the shovel and axe that are locked onto the jeep. I think Gaby is standing beside the jeep when the song plays.

Its before any work is done and it outside Gaby's house.

hey guys i am looking for a track that was on pimp my ride season 6 episode 18.

its with Andrew and his 1970 Cadillac hearse. someone says"next we will use heavy duty ball bearing sliders to support the frame that will carry the coffin" then the track starts and plays for about 18 seconds there are no lyrics though. then Mad Mike says"hey did he just call us dead weight?"

Pimp My Ride song?

Hi guys, new to the forum.

This song has been bugging me and its an instrumental from Season 2 of episode 9. Its the episode about the Ford Econline. The song starts at the beginning 2:25 mins in where Xzibit is on the street with a "double" of him digitally done and he begins to introduce the episode.

It sounds like some oldschool hiphop beat possibly from an Xzibit song. If someone can find this it will be MUCH APPRECIATED. Thanks guys.
