Hi Everyone;

I'm hoping that someone might be able to help me with something that I came across on YouTube this evening.

This is a vintage VW Commercial from around 1972. The music in it is somewhat familiar and I feel like I have heard it somewhere before, but using the standard apps like Soundhound and Shazam were not all that helpful.

I was wondering if anyone might have an idea where this song came from or who composed it - here is the link:

My initial thought was that it might be something by Alan Hawkshaw - but I'm really stumped as to who did the music or if it is something that was specifically drafted for the commercial.

Any assistance that you guys can provide would be greatly appreciated!
