I don't know if this question has been answered but the song with the old couple and then the young couple passes them is called Stand By Me.

For the commercial it was redone with a guitar.

There is a guitar version of "Stand By Me" in a Diamonds are Forever commercial. It features the same 2 couples theme and closes with "There are only two things that last. Love is one of them." I would love to know the artist.
