How about 'Kids in the Hall' or 'Corner Gas'?Originally posted by dascoot@Jul 26 2005, 06:48 PM
As far as I know we don't get any Canadian shows down here except like Degrassi, but I'd love to see some.

I love Kids In The Hall but I haven't seen it in years.
Yeah....I thought Corner Gas would be pretty obscure for the States. It's kind of big here in Canada Land. I've been trying to think of other Canadian comedies but am failing to come up with some. I guess we aren't that funny after all.Originally posted by dascoot@Jul 26 2005, 09:51 PM
Never even heard of Corner Gas though..

Anyone ever heard of SCTV? That was another funny Canadian comedy from the late 70's early 80's.
Yeah some of the skits don't hold up in my opinion either. But some of them are still pretty hilarious. I still like that "Days of Week" (or whatever it was called) soap opera satire.Originally posted by Mr. Awesome@Jul 27 2005, 01:41 PM
I used to love SCTV when it originally aired. But I saw the reruns that NBC aired after Conan a couple of years ago. It didn't hold up so well hehe.

One thing Kids in the Hall made me realize: When British comics crossdress, they're disturbingly gross. When Canadian comics crossdress, they're disturbingly hot.
