I'm looking for the song used in the episode "Take My Wife, Sleaze" (#BABF05 / SI-1105) of The Simpsons. As a quick recap, this is the episode where Homer wins a motorcycle at a 50's nostalgia diner and starts a gang called The Hell's Satans, only to have the real Hell's Satans find him and kidnap Marge.

Anyway, I'm looking for the song used while Bart teaches Homer to ride his motorcycle. I have the lyrics, but God help me, I can't seem to find the song. Lyrics:

You showed me everything
Oh, you took me by the hand
Puppy dogs and Lincoln Logs
And castles by the sand
You gave me the courage
To spread my newborn wings
Like Mayonnaise and Marmalade
And other spreadable things
So I guess you are my hero
And there's something you should know
I want to make it clear,
So I'm going to sing it slow
If you weren't a man,
And my father, too,
I'd buy you a diamond ring,
And then I'd marry you.

It's folk-sy, male singer, acoustic guitar. Any ideas?

I searched around and the only thing i got was NRBQ - Mayonnaise and Marmalade. i hope that helps :)

It does, now I just need somehow find a copy of a rare as hell album, haha. Thanks!

This episode was just shown on my local Fox network today. It's definitely "Mayonnaise and Marmalade" by NRBQ; during seasons 10-13 NRBQ's music was featured many times in the background of the shows because the show runner at the time, Mike Scully, was a big fan of them.
