During top gear on 23/11, there was a piece of music played (i know theres alot of different music played on top gear), but it was like chords, no rock, just chords playing when the 3 presenters were driving in the dark towards blackpool, at about 8.45.

as it is probably where you got the sound clip from? Anyways, I read in the posts that people think it is a remix of a Craig Armstrong song, a music library song from companies like Extrememusic.com or tried contacting the BBC to find out who it is by.

It is from the US version I think, so it has different music. In the original UK version, the song at this time was 'escape' by craig armstrong, but this song is obviously not that.
