Anyone know how to can sauce? I could google it but if anyone's ever done it I'd love some tips.

Yeah like the women used to do in the days of yore, before fridges and artificial preservatives. They'd put the sauce or fruit or jelly or vegetables they wanted to preserve into Mason jars and put the lid and threaded ring on em and then boil them in water until they sealed tight, and then the family could have food during the winter when there were no crops. I'm just not sure of the details, ie how much water to put in, how long to boil for, should I add pectin, etc etc.
