Last Good Movie You Saw

I saw a screening for the film: Fifty Pills. It was pretty funny to say the least.

Casino Royale was very good, its the best of the newer bonds hands down.

I saw Notes on a Scandal, not bad, Judi Dench is creepy as hell.

The Departed was pretty good besides the ending where it became predictable with the shootings.

Kingdom Of Heaven was pretty long and an alright movie. Not as good as I expected but not too bad.

The Departed was sweet.

I saw Smokin Aces, it was alright. I felt like it was 2 different styles of movie mushed into one, which didn't seem to work, for me atleast, it was still ok though.

Yea I heard mixed reviews about that one. I saw Pan's Labrynth (spell) AMAZING! Why it didn't win for best picture foreign film? Beats the f out of me

I just saw Pan's Labyrinth. You're absolutely correct: it was simply brilliant. I know it got an Oscar nod for "Best Foreign-Language Film," but how it did not get one for "Best Picture" and "Director" is beyond me. Of course, this is the Academy we're talkin about, so little surprises me when it comes to them—just look at some of their choices for "Best Picture."

Besides Pan's Labyrinth, I also recenty watched Volver and Letters From Iwo Jima; both were very good in their own, very different, way. If you like Almodovar's movies, you won't be disappointed in Volver, and I found Letters to be a much better, and more complete, film than Flags.

I'll have to watch these films sometime then.

It was absolutely brilliant especially the ''boogyman'' my friends and i are still trying to figure out the symbolizm there.

Went to the movies last night. Saw Blood Diamond and the Prestige

Blood Diamond is a great movie, I was pleasantly surprised by Leonardo's acting and accent. Definitely worth watching.

The Prestige... I loved it. I really loved it, though I do believe it's a bit of an acquired taste. Just like with a real magic trick, you need to look closely. There was one thing which was so obvious and which had so many many hints throwing right at you, yet I didn't see it coming.

Crank was terrible, funny, but terrible.
Agreed. [/b][/quote]
I loved Crank. The car on the escalator and the china town scene were sweet. :D
