I heard this song in JC Penneys, it sounds much like Betty Davis Eyes but it isn't that song. Perhaps the same artist. It talks about flying and having broken wings, that is pretty much the chorus, but the guitar sounds A LOT like that of betty davis eyes.

The song is sang by a guy, and it is 80's....or late 90's.....it has that "old rock" beat to it, bette davis eyes......the very beginning of it....when that guitar goes: high-medium-medium-low-medium-high.......that is the part I am talking about......it sounds identical to the song I am describing here.

I always thought that song sounded similar to Prince's "When Doves Cry", but maybe it's just me.
