country line dance song

This song sounds almost identical to cotton eyed joe. but the lyrics are pretty much indistinguishable. any ideas?

Maybe because the dance song version of "Cotton-Eyed Joe" is a cover of an original/traditional folk song, and you heard that?

no I swear it is a different song. the lyrics are different. and it has a completely different line dance to it.

ok I found it! no wonder it sounded almost identical. They were both by the rednex. the one I was looking for was "old pop in an oak"
