MTV changes the music in all their shows depending on where you see it. The online version of The Hills has a different set of songs than the U.S. broadcast version. I assume it's different when replayed in other countries, etc.

Most networks do this because it would be more expensive to license all the music for every outlet beyond the U.S. broadcast version.

i saw episode 1 online, i wanna know the songs name played instead "american boy" help me pleeeease

I'm looking for the song that plays when Audrina is sitting by the pool trying to get her hairtie back from Justin. She finally gives up and walks away while flipping him the bird. None of the songs on MTV's episode music guide are that song. The only lyrics that are played are

Nothing is forever
The way it all went wrong
And why we have to move on

The first 2 lines are the only ones I can really understand. I've googled those lyrics and haven't come back with anything. :-(
