Rob asked this:
Well, I found an answer(s)... whether or not it's the exact one you're after, I'm not sure... But, I found this on another site...
This response is straight from the horse's (Coke's) mouth, dated Mid-June 2003:
I believe the ad Rob is referring to -- the one availble for viewing through http://sprite.com/nba/nba -- is 'Portraits."
Someone else had this to say:
And, even more info:

A question from me.......the new Kobe Bryant Sprite commercial, I've emailed Coca-Cola but they rarely reply. It's not the large Proffessor track, if you haven't seen it yet its at www.sprite.com on the NBA page. Anybody any Ideas?

Thank you for contacting us at The Coca-Cola Company. We appreciate your patience while researching the music in our Kobe ads. There are three different ads featuring Kobe at this time: Portraits, Weight Lifting, and Boxing.
-Portraits features clips of Kobe running, lifting weights and boxing. Anthem music was created for the spot by a music producer, Teflon.
-Weight Lifting focuses on Kobe's weight training. "Groove is On" by Groove Armada was used in this ad.
-Boxing concentrates on his use of boxing to train. "Bout that time" by Large Professor is the soundtrack.
If you ever have any more comments or questions, please feel free to contact us again.

According to Eric at Coca Cola, no information is readily available about this clip. He says it looks to be an amalgamation of two previous clips - "Weight Room" (which featured Jermaine Dupri singing "Welcome to Atlanta" in the background) and "Boxing".
And, even more info:
One Coca-Cola site mentions "an original score by Amir and The Roots" in connection with the Kobe Sprite ads. I don't know whether it refers to this particular commercial, however. http://www2.coca-cola.com/ourcompany/wn200...ant_sprite.html
