haha it's not really anything glamorous, but i'll be working at a starbucks nearby. i figure i'll work there until i get enough clients. i do need the money though. technically i don't have the job yet, but my mom ran into a manager, and she happened to know the person. she said that they were really impressed when i called them and that i was at the top of the pile. i damn well better be after working at Fleet Farm for three years

Hahaha i knew something would say something.. it's just a job.. it might not even last a year.

Besides I still don't see why everyone dislikes Starbucks. They take business from mom and pop coffee shops, but don't the slightly bigger mom and pop coffee shops take away business from the smaller mom and pop coffee shops?

As far as I'm concerned there's much more questionable companies out there. But a lot of times they'd be hard to boycott because they own everything we already buy (link), because people have enough worries of their own, and because a lot of times they're cheaper.

Nothing wrong at all with working at a Starbucks....I worked at a Subway at one time in my life to help pay the bills. And now I am educating myself as I move on to bigger and better paying jobs. It's a means to an end.

I'm actually glad I searched this because I didn't like them because of an email but turns out that the email was false. That's what I get for believing an email without researching first.
