kill me now
Thats not that bad news. I mean, the hobbit is very much different from the lord of the rings. Seeing as how the atmosphere and general feeling is different, a different director might be a good choice.

There will be a hobbit movie im sure (and it will have a dragon!!)

They have pretty close ties with him don't they?

Anyways, I read it here
Hmm...indeed.

Well, im still hopeful...
What I fear most though, is that a lot of people will dis it because its so different from the lord of the rings. All sings seem to point to disappointment.

But then again, that was the case for the original star wars film as well...

Man, I'd kill to have a job at WETA. I want to be a concept artist for them so bad...
Who says you can't?

Though looking at this it does seem like they are a bit harsh  :ermm:

I actually havethis page printed off on my desk

I'm curious about these 'strict immigration laws'. Is it hard for an american to get a visa from them?

Welllllll

I assume you just want to design things, as in, making sketches? That would be a good idea, cuz pretty much everything starts with that.

As for the being foreign...no idea. Though, I can tell you that sketch artists work via the internet often...

Of course, I assume you would also like to travel a lot, dont you?

Hell yeah, I'd move to New Zealand in a second given the chance. I would want to work in a studio anyway, not at home if I had a choice.

In any case, going to art school the second youre out of high school would be a good start I think.

And definitely keep all of your work.
