I've been looking for a few hours and still can't figure out what the song is. The problem is that I can't remember what the ad was featuring, but I think it was an event. I am inclined to think that it was not the Bottom Line event because the song in that ad is not the right one. It had several of their models driving around a Nissan dealership and a highway around mid-day.

The song is some electronical/house thing (sorry, not a genre I frequent so I'm bad at identification). I have eliminated several options using the search function:

It is definitely not any of those. It is also not "Hoops" by The Chemical Brothers.

If anyone can even link me to the commercial, I would be so grateful. I am 90% sure it was a Nissan commercial, but there is a slim chance I got confused and it is for a Mitsubishi event or something. Whatever it was, it played very recently (within a month or 1.5 months) and is probably still on.

those are the names of the songs and artists from those Nissan commercials...

Thanks for trying, but it isn't any of those. The frustrating part is that I can imagine how the instruments used sound, but can't get a melody down. All of the instruments are electronic and the track sounds like electronica, nothing funky like The Chemical Brothers' or The Crystal Method's normal tunes. I don't know what to go on right now, but I'll send an email to Nissan and ask them for information. I will post back here if I ever find out which song it is.

I think that you might have pasted the wrong links. The first one is just a youtube search for "nissan commercial" and the second is the nissancommercials site, both without a specific video selected. I have looked through both sites, but couldn't find the one I was looking for. I emailed nissan usa last night, so I'm waiting on their reply.

The song is from the Chemical Brothers. I have to look through my music library online and as soon as I have it I'll post it here.

I saw the commercial yesterday and was reminded of how much I love this song. I should have the name of it sometime this evening or tomorrow morning.

This is an older Nissan commercial thread from 09-12-2008, so it probably is referring to a different ad if is something you saw on TV recently.

I finally found it, and by accident. It's "Right Here, Right Now" by Fatboy Slim.

A Discovery channel ad for their show "Curiosity" just popped up and the song was playing in it. I immediately recognized it as the song I heard in 2008. At the end of the ad, they displayed the Nissan emblem since Nissan is sponsoring the show, apparently. I wonder if that's coincidence.
