i'm looking to find out who did the song for the 2003 mercedes benz C230 coupe commercial.

the scene begins on the highway and guys from helicopters, motorcycles, etc. are chasing him. he eludes them all....except another girl driving the same car

the catch phrase is: the only way to catch one is to be in one (or something like that)

it aired a lot during the tennis US Open (sept. 2003)

Hmm. Well, since an answer hasn't been forthcoming, it might be time to try emailing Mercedes and asking. (This sometimes works - believe it or not.)

Almost forgot, Mercedes does have a few of their commercials online - is the ad you mentioned on their site?

yes! the ad is 'chase' for the c-series sedan (i thought it was for a coupe)

i'll try emailing them and see what happens...
