stupid thrasher movie.
oh well, i can always watch it at my friends house, he's recording all of the games.
why were they ejected?

He was ejected for "a sliding takedown, cleating the midfielder's ankle." Sounds bad to me.

Yeah they are doing stupid things. Must be frustration. I mean, hitting an oponent's nose with an elbow? Come on... McBride needed stiches to stop the bleeding, I heard.

The refereeing was horrible. In a low scroing game like foorball, the referee matters so much, they should put more technology to work. In international cricket, for example, if the match umpire and the short leg umpire thinks it's too close to call, they send it up to a panel of guys who analyze the video. Once that process was in place, (in the 90's I think), there haven't been any bad calls. It only takes 5-15 seconds for a decision. Such split-second decisions should not be left for a 40 something guy on the field, who has to run and keep up with other players...

indeed. ppl have been saying that for years.

however the FIFA decided that the occasional 'bad calls' from referees are part of what football is....which sucks, of course

i agree with the bad calls, but the refs are too card happy.
i've never seen so many yellow or red cards in my life.

actually yea but i think thats not the refs getting out of control its the players. but thats only my opinion

i read that the refs were suppose to be really strict when it came to fouls and that's why they are doing that, i've seen games where people who are getting carded during the world cup for doing stuff that wouldv'e been overlooked during a regular season game.

WARNING
dutch server so it *may take a long time loading
 Streakers! That's one great decision FIFA made. Streakers wil not be televized... The cameras will pull away, so that they don't get their 15 seconds of fame.... Good strategy, till we see a female streaker!! :naughty:
