I couldn't watch the finals sunday, or the game on saturday, cause I've been working. So I tivo it, and made sure not to go to CNN or FoxNews, and answered all phone calls with "don't tell me about the finals because I'm taping it.." and then Verizon sends me a text message ..:!@#$: And tivo stopped taping before the end of overtime... :angry:

Are all you people freaking MAD!? Italy did NOT deserve to win the world cup. They're a bunch of dirty, rotten no-goodniks. They didn't even deserve to make it past the round of 16. They cheated against Australia, scoring off a penalty they got when one of their guys took a dive, a really OBVIOUS dive when you look at the replay. If you look at the replay, there's just no question, it's 100% a dive. So if they hadn't cheated outrageously,and we had beaten them, Australia would have won the World Cup....Yep, that's how logic works down here.

How can anyone support a team that cheated their way through the World Cup, the most holy of sporting events?
