Sad and tragic original soundtracks

Ladies & Gentlemen -
it is a sad and tragic thing since I am looking for a really sad song which is so sad that I am falling apart during the writing of that. But, even more sad, I do not know the movie nor the title of it.
The only thing I know is
- it is the end title
- it is sung by a man
- i believe there is only a piano playing
The Gymnopedies remembers me a little bit.
If anybody is knowledgeable of that , I promise minimum the first teardrop !

And . . . . don't forget the soundtrack of Titanic. Besides Celine Dion, the other vocals in Titanic are from the Norwegian singer Sissel. Some think it was Enya, but it was Sissel.

Hi there...lately i've been really into really beautiful, but really sad and tragic pieces off ost's (and no im not a depresso or anything ^^)...i have a fair collection already, but have been listening to the same pieces over n over again...the last thing i wanna do is war out the beauty of these pieces and was wondering if u guy could maybe...i dunno, give me ur top 5 saddest ost pieces? or ones along the lines of the examples here (NOT in any particular order of enjoyment ^^), the ones with stars are the ones i like most out of all ^^:

PS: u know of any pieces that get into that......tranquil, celestial mood? plenty of strings....i cant really explain it...here...on youtube, search up Way of the sword- Last Samurai ost, and journey to the line-Thin red line ost.....the thing im talking about is in the later half of these two songs.....any ideas?
