cool concept, but in reality i don't see why they would need that much space. i can't foresee that many people living in a giant boat for long periods of time in preference to taking a cruise or a weekend in the bahamas. you think driving alone in your minivan is expensive, i can't even imagine the profit loss of a boat the size of a small town. speaking of which, if they're gonna go futuristic they should start building a luxury underwater hotel. they can stay as long as they want, it can be constantly by a major city which would be cheaper to operate with the constant visitors, and most of all it doesn't have to start on a massive scale. it can start out as one tunnel down to a aquarium pod for testing and depending on the public response it could either be sold as a research laboratory or develop into a massive hotel. haha enough dreaming for me
