The song was used by sony when they were advertising all their new home theater equipment, different commercials with the same family of actors. This song played in the one where the father takes a dig. pic. of his full head of hair and sends it to his balding brother on his birthday, writing: Keep on shining! Anyways, it sounds like it may be from the motown era. . ."hey, hey, what's the matter with my (baby?). . .Come and get your love. . ." Can anyone help me with the name? It's also now playing on what seems to be Healthy Choice microwave dinner commercials.

The song is

Redbone - Come and Get Your Love

I don't know the exact year, but it came it out in the 70s, and has been on many many many compilation albums from that decade.

The lyrics are (refusing to include the repeats, there are many):

Hey (hey) What's the matter with your head? yeah...
Hey (hey) What's the matter with your mind and your sign?
And-a ooh-ohh
Hey (hey) Nothin's a matter with your head, baby, find it
Come on and find it
Hell, with it, baby, 'cause you're fine and you're mine
And you look so divine

Come and get your love

Hey (hey) What's the matter with your feel right?
Don't you feel right, baby?
Hey, oh, yeah, get it from the main line, alright
I said-a find it, find it, darling, love it
If you like it, yeah-eh
Hey (hey) It's your business if you want some
Take some, get it together, baby

Come and get your love

Come and get your love, come and get your love
Come and get your love, now

Hey (hey) What's the matter with your feel right?
Don't you feel right, baby?
Hey, oh, yeah, get it from the main vine, alright

La,la,la,la,la,la, (come and get your love)

Peace.

Thank you so much! My roomate and I are constantly humming the song, but have no clue what the actual lyrics are or the title! Now our minds are put to rest! THANKS
