News Reports

Trust me, they'll never get it passed. It's just talk for the upcoming midterm elections.

Here's my thing. Okay, as most of you know, I'm a conservative. Which usually means that you are against gay marriage. But the thing is, I feel that it really doesn't matter how I morally feel about it. It doesn't matter what my beliefs are. Whether I personally think that it is right or wrong is not up to me and my opinion either way really doesn't matter on this. There is a huge population that are homosexual and no ONE person's opinion is going to change that. One person cannot just decide for everyone else that being gay is a choice. No one can prove that. So, that makes it an opinion. One person may think it's a choice and a sin while another person may think it's who you are and therefore not a choice. I think I'm rambling here but what I'm getting at is that there is a huge population that is homosexual, and while they might still be a minority, they are still existing and I feel that eventually this will have to be legalized everywhere regardless of what some people think. Whether they chose to be gay or not is not the issue at all. That's what people cannot get past. They are hung up on this debate and I don't feel that's the point. Two people, male and female can live together for a period of time and not actually get married but yet they can declare common law. Why don't people argue that? If two people want to commit their lives to each other forever then fine, that's their choice not anyone else's.

I'm still a concervative damnit I just choose to look at stuff for how they are. :P

And the way I see it, if someone's reason for being against gay marriage is a religious reason, that means they believe in a God and they believe he is the ultimate judge of all mankind. So stop trying to BE God, and let him take care of his own business on Judgement Day. Until then, his rule about loving thy neighbor applies.

So, not just a criminal, an enthusiastic high energy criminal?

I can hear it, and it is very loud and annoying. Why would anyone think this is a good idea, and I bet most people can hear it anyway.
