Hi guys! Nice Find Here!

Is the US the only country in the world not on the metric system?

Oh wait, there is also Liberia, and Myanmar (also known as Burma). :)

   Damn skippy. Today....Liburmia....Tomorrow....THE WORRRLD!!!!!

 :)

Once apun a time the world was not metric, they was imperial. But now the world over have embraced the way of the French and now all the world except 3 have given into the French empire of metric. ;)

I will be visiting in Canada tonight. OK, so it's only to hit the casinos on the Niagra Falls side, but I will step foot on the soil (as long as they don't get me at the border with 20 Questions).

Why are you going to Canada?

Anything in the vehicle?

You're from Florida?

Why are your tags from Maryland?

You know how it goes.....

First time on Canadian soil? I've never been to the eastern side of the country. Been in the prairies most of my life.

You know Fitz was joking right? We have nothing at all against the metric system or people that use it.

First off...Merry Chrismahannukah to everyone. I try not to discriminate ;)

No, it's not my first time there. I used to live in Rochester, NY and visited on a regular basis. I also tend to go to Toronto a lot. Would have moved there had I not moved to Orlando, FL back in 1994. And I've never been to the western portion. And never in the prairies. I'm a city boy myself.

Of course, of course....you know that I was joking too right? Rarely does anything serious come out of my mouth. I've got nothing against Imperial either, in fact I use it from time to time. Both systems of measurement have merits.

Well, 'tis the end of my measurement blurb....for now. ;) :)

Hear hear!!! I agree. I wave my magic rod in sincere hope that there shall no longer be this peckish weighing of measures. :P Hands across the water, so to speak, in a gesture of camaraderie on this the most special of days. A bushel of love to my French brothers and sisters. Hell, I'll even extend the olive branch to the Irish!!! A whole bale of olive branches!!! But just for today. ;)
