maybe i'm late for this one but..there is a Dos Equis ad w/ the most interesting man in the world playing now, but theres also a bigger longer version online posted where it's the most interesting man "on himself" and there is this spanish guitar song playing (towards the end) and also what's the music from the 30 second ad?

Its called "Minor Swing" but I can't find the version you want. Django Reinhardt's version is nice and there is another one from the soundtrack of "Chocolat."

First, i can't believe there hasn't been a topic opened for the new Dos Equis interesting man commercial.

2nd, what is that song? It's the flamenco guitar, upbeat tune. Let me know if you can find out who it is.

Re: Dos Equis commercials

Sounds a lot like the background track to this song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EkcmQh6mYIw

Edit: I'm referring to the music in this commercial, by the way: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Bc0WjTT0Ps

You are absolutely right it sounds identical, a maybe just a different guitar or something but it is definitely the same! I have been trying to find "Mai Kuraki - Secret Roses" for a while now, with no luck. I can't even find the song let a lone the instrumental.

Anyone know which song was sampled first and if there is a original out there...?

So I found out that the Lethal Bizzle track "Fire" was sampled from the song "It's a Shame" by The Spinners:

So I am guessing that the people who mad the Dos Equis music got the rights to sample the Spinners song and make it with the spanish guitar sound in the commercial.
They probably only got the rights to use it for the commercial. So we'll probably never be able to purchase the song from the commercial! But I will keep looking.

Doesn't someone that knows how to play the guitar want to take on these challenge and make us a instrumental?
