chevy car commercial

i was browsing through, to try and make sure that this wasnt already asked, and i didnt see, so here we go.
does anyone know the name of the song in the chevy commercial (its a little old) where there's this like toe-truck thing picking up a lot of different chevys. and at the end, this yellow one backs into it. and there is this convertable full of people who drive by and are in shock or something? if anyone knows the name of the song at this part, near the end, it would be greatly appreciated.

I know this isn't much help, but the commercial was for the Chevy SSR. I don't have an account on adcritic, but I would bet the commercial is on there.

The song is indeed a cover of Steppenwolf's 'Magic Carpet Ride'.

However, the version used in the commercial was performed by JEFFREY GAINES.
