I've always heard about the "irritation factor" in advertising, something that annoys you to the point where you start talking about the product with other people just because you hate the ad so much. The new TV ad theme for Campbell's Soup is a perfect example. I think the song is called "Possibilities." The lyrics encourage you to try using Tomato Soup to prepare Mexican dishes. Who is this female singer who can't pronounce the words "taco" and "salsa," anyway? Somebody send her to Spanish 101 already -- Grrrrrrrrrrr!!
