Does anyone happen to know the title of the song that plays during the Adult Swim promo for many of their shows... it's in a different language or something, too.

Any idea what I'm talking about?

I believe the song that they at least used in an ad a few months ago was by Lata Mangeshkar, a famous Indian singer. I think the song they used in the ad was "Didi Tera Devar Deewana," but I don't know if Adult Swim made any differnt ads with the same kind of style.

such a good commercial. i want to know the song too! find it soon.

If you look at AdTunes homepage and scroll down to 'April 16,2006' you see this:

A popular part of the Cartoon Network is the channel's nightly programming block, known as Adult Swim. Part of this is due to the Adult Swim "bumps" (short for "bumpers", which are short network breaks between programming and commercials). The ad breaks have become so popular that there are web sites devoted to just the bumps themselves, including BumpWorthy.com and ASF.

The bumps began back in 2001 with an Adult Swim commercial featuring a remix of a Tito Puente song "Mambo Gallego" from a stock music production library by Extreme Music. (You can hear the original Tito Puente version of "Mambo Gallego" on iTunes.) Like most music production libraries, the song (titled "D-Code: Covert Communique from Our Man in Havana") is only licensed for use in television, film, and other media -- not available to the general public. The remix eventually found its way into many other commercials and soundtracks, quickly becoming a popular request in our forums.

You can also visit the official Adult Swim message board (Registration Required) to read about music used in the bumps. While you are there, let us know if you find out why Adult Swim is now rerunning episodes of Saved By the Bell in their lineup.

The only thing about that is that there are over 5000 posts in that thread to search through.

I thought that someone here might know much more quickly than digging through pages and pages and pages of posts.

Does anyone know the other adult swim music - the one when they show the line up of shows and in the corner it says all times and music eastern?

Trust me, the answer isn't there, and I still don't know what it is :(
