2004 Mitsubishi Lancer

This commercial just started airing recently (maybe late Oct, 2003). It's for the 2004 Lancer by Mitsubishi, not to be confused with the 2003 Lancer commercial which features a Barenaked Ladies song. This song is electronic, club music or some such. If anyone knows, I'd love to find out.

Just saw a new ad for the new Lancer 2004, vary similar to past ads as we see a bunch of 20 somethings driving the car arround urban landscapes. The song that plays reminds me of a more electronic version of Blur... its got male vocals and lots of electronic sounds over a broken beat.

Can't find any info on this, any ideas?

I've been wondering the same thing.

Mitsubishisi doesn't update their "music" page, so that's not useful.

There are lyrics at the very end, something like:

"sun on my skull, back to the life..."

A Google search on the lyric doesn't result, but that could be because I'm hearing it wrong.

Just as an FYI for readers, it's a *new* ad (June 2004), not the old Lancer ad where someone asks for directions. There is no dialog in this ad.

I've been looking for this too - finally found it yesterday. It's called "Back to the Life" by the Austin group Spoon. It's on their "Kill the Moonlight" album. Enjoy!
