2002 Mercedes-Benz E Class "24 Hours a Day"

I've been searching for the answer to this for over 20 years - there was a TV spot for Mercedes E Class in 2002 - the ad was called "24 hours a day" and had a custom song for the sound track - it was never released, and supposedly was recorded by a "real" artist and I have NEVER been able to ID them. Does anybody have any clue???

"I Got To Have You" was the chorus, it was a 60 second ad. Could have been a hit song. Capitalized on the garage rock revival of the era.
