I checked sound clips from all those listed, but they're not the one I'm looking for. I'll see if I can find a short clip of it somewhere, but the flute part (if its even a flute, definately some sort of small wind instrument) is a very fast rise and fall of notes then two blasts of what sound like trumpets (maybe some other instruments) then the flute notes again. Thanks for the ideas though.

Is it "No Escapin' This" (Track 7) by The Beatnuts?
I was thinking maybe the beginning of "Sledgehammer" by Peter Gabriel, as it's got the fast rise/fall thing. But there aren't any horns in between. They do come in later, though.

There's this Hip-Hop sample used on MTV & VH-1. I haven't heard it for awhile, but it's still bugging me. It kind of sounds like they're using a harpsichord or a baby piano, then in between there's a cowbell or woodblock. I posted this question within another MTV music thread about 8 months ago. The thread was answered, but my question still hadn't been.
I had posted this as an example last time:
Read fast it sounds like...
(harpsichord/baby piano) dada duh da
(woodblock/cowbell) clunk-clunk-clunk
(harpsichord/baby piano) dada duh da
(woodblock/cowbell) clunk-clunk
Then it goes up an octave and repeats.
Any help is greatly appreciated; I'm desperate to find this!!
