Anyone knows who plays the funky guitar riff heard during some sequences? It also has some electronica elements. The TLC website is minimal when it comes to show information.

I don't know if this will help, but I am pretty sure the theme song is "Donaueschingen - Ranier Truby Trio" by Kruder & Dorfmeister. (I can never remember if it's the theme song for the BBC America or TLC theme song, or both.) Anyway, they might play some parts of it throughout the show. Audio sample here, track 9... although it doesn't get to the recognizable part on that clip. <_<

I was able to listen to the whole track you mentioned but unfortunately that's not it. It gave me the opportunity to discover a new interesting band though - Rainer Truby Trio - which is pretty cool! But it's more trip hop / "break n' bossa." The guitar riff I am loking for is definitely more funky in style and fast paced.
