On the January 11th episode of The Colbert Report on Comedy Central, host Stephen Colbert discussed his ballot voting choices for the Grammy Awards.
Colbert had trouble deciding who should win the Grammy Award for Best Alternative Album, so he invited nominees The Black Keys and Vampire Weekend to compete in a "Sell Out Off" to see which band got their music in the most TV commercials. Their ad battle featured spots from Zales, Honda, Tommy Hilfiger, Victoria's Secret, HP, and Sony Ericsson.
Colbert summed up their competition best: "Clearly you have equally whored out your music."
