I was watching this show on style network and this song came on....

I thought it was Alanis M, but....it's kind of rockish...

Check it out

"Operator....something something, I'm heading downtown...."

Then it goes into a chorus

"I'll be hunting or waiting maybe calling for you" then "something to come "to see"

"I'm falling for you" or something.

See how bloody confused I am.

Yeah, the second I saw the word "operator," I thought it would be Operator by The Grateful Dead, but none of the other lyrics match.
