I have to analyse the soundtrack for the original version of Sonic the Hedgehog for Sega Mega Drive. I'd be gratful if people could share their views and opinions on the audio content of the game.

seeing that sonic the hedgehog was the first game i devoted a large amount of time of my early gaming days on. i found the soundtrack to be pretty good for the age. i still play it on a basis and i still remember it. back in a day where sounds were rather simple and not really publicized by being released on cd's i found my self playing the game to just hear its music
