Hannibal Lecter kills the two cop guards that watch him while he is in that cage towards the end. There is some classical music he is listening to after he murders them...

Looks like it might be an original score by Howard Shore (you can hear some samples here).. Course that doesn't mean it's not a separate piece that isn't included on the cd since it's not an original composition.. so maybe someone else has better info.

Looking at the soundtrack listing at imdb.com, I'm guessing the song is "Goldberg Variations", performed by Jerry Zimmerman, written by Johann Sebastian Bach. (Google search implies that Lector listens to Bach in all the movies/books.) Not sure beyond that, maybe listening to a few samples
this CD at Amazon will help? Don't think this piece of music appears on the Silence of the Lambs soundtrack.

Whats the song playing in the background of the famous scene when Buffalo Bill is naked and dancing and says "I'd @#$% Me." Hehe. I heard the song was by the smiths, but i can't remember now.

:D Well I'm answering my own question because I found it, hehe. It's

Good Bye Horeses by Q. Lazzarus

who knew........

Ok even though this move is dumb, there is a part of the movie when Buffalo Bill was dancing in front of his camera and acting like he was very supurb, the song that was playing was a late 80's early 90's indie rock style and one of the lyrics says

"i see my hopes and dreams are lying on the ground" (or it might say laying all around)

Then the chorus says something then "I'm crying, crying, crying over you"

Does anyone know this song???
