Riding Giants

Hey there, this is a long shot, but here goes!
If any of you saw the documentary on surfing called "Riding Giants" you may remember that the film had dozens of cool songs! only a few made it on to the soundtrack CD... however, i am looking for a really cool song, similar to Cocteau Twins / Theivery Corporation / St Germain about half way through the movie.... Sorry so vague! I ordered the DVD and am waiting for its arrival for this very purpose...But thought i'd try...

This is very random but I am really trying to find this one song.

It's used in the movie Riding Giants during a montage to this one guy (Greg Noll, I think) and during the scene in La Bamba where the hearse carrying Ritchie Valens is making it's way to the cemetery. I don't know the name of the song and have tried doing IMDB.com numerous times as well as random Google/Amazon searches. I've had no luck. It's one we've probably all heard before- it's a very slow, surf-like tune.
