Reminding people to add details...

Hi all,

We need a way to remind people to include details about the music they are asking for. For example, when you click 'New Topic' on say the 'TV Commercial Music', the next page should have fields like 'Description Of The Ad', 'Description of the music', 'Where have you seen the Ad', 'Your Location', 'Link to the ad online' etc. These fields should be optional, but atleast that will remind the poster to fill in as much details as he/she remembers. All that detail should go into the same post.

It's a little geeky, but this will save you some time, michelle, not having to ask for details EVERY damn time!

What do you all think?

Well, I think it's a good idea, but I don't really know of a way to do it with the current message forum software -- or even the planned upgraded version.

If it comes up as a feasible "mod" of the forum software, then it would probably be worth doing -- but it wouldn't come before the next software upgrade.
