R&B 90's Song - HELP ME PLEASE!

OKAY GUYS! There is this old R&B song i can not find anywhere. I recall the CD had an african american woman on it, i think she was in yellow, with a yellow hat.

One of the songs on the album is "Sorry (But You Can Say Baby) originally sung by Tracy Chapman.

Anyway, back to the song i am looking for...It is a slow song. She has a pretty and rich voice. Here are some of the lyrics:

Sounds like it could be Erykah Badu. Try and find some previews of her albums cause the lyrics dont ring any bells for me but the style of them do sound just like her.
