I no longer remember how I stumbled across it, but there's an Italian guy desperately searching for the song used in a commercial for Mediaset Premium, which appears to be a cable movie channel. The song used is in English and I thought I could find it by searching on the lyrics, but nooooo. Here's the guy's posting of the ad:

The dang song sounds like we should all know it. It could be any of a dozen bands like Counting Crows, Sister Hazel, Vertical Horizon, Train, Five For Fighting, etc., etc. Approximately fifty people have posted to tell the guy it's "I Still Believe In You" by Bob Carlisle, which it most certainly is not. There is some talk in Italian about Angelo Albani, but my high-school French isn't enough for me to figure out what is being said. I hope someone here can help the guy. It's not keeping me awake nights, but I'd like to know what the song is myself.
