This is the most recent commercial I know of, and the most updated in their website's FAQ:

Q. What is the name of the song in your ads?
A. The music currently featured on Kohl's television and radio advertising is "Shine A Light," by the group The Apples in Stereo. The song can be found on the 1998 Sire Records album "Tone Soul Evolution."

Hi all.

I apologize if this has already been answered but I have been looking for this song for about three years now and it's driven me insane.

It was featured in a Kohl's ad that ran a few years ago for the back to school season.

Here's what I remember:

There were a bunch of kids jumping over a fence and toppling on each other and the lyrics went something to the effect of: "The summer's almost over and another school year is here...this one just like the last one, will be a perfectly beautiful year."

Is a pretty old commercial, maybe late 90's early 2000's.

Lyrics were something like "The summer's almost over and another school year is here...this one just like the last one, will be a perfectly beautiful year."
