JCPenney "99 Red Balloons"

There is a new JC Penney's commercial for Valentine's Day, featuring... you guess it, red balloons.

Anyway, it's a man singing "99 Red Balloons"... way slower and softer than the song was when it was put out before. Anyone know who is singing?

Goldfinger did a cover of the song a few years ago. It's more rock. I don't know if that's who is on the commercial.

I just saw the ad. Based on the fact that the singer sings JC Penny's trademark phrase ("it's all inside") at the end of the song, I'm going to say it's just a "studio musician" contracted to sing the song just for the ad.
