Someone asked this on yahoo, and the answer was Rob Russell and the Sore Losers - they didn't name the song, but you can preview the songs off of the album I think it would be at Amazon

yes, i saw that too, but thats not who sings it, the song i am looking for is more of a soul/r&b song, and it sounds like a girl is singing, i should have said that in my first post, i tried looking for it but couldn't find nothing
