Could it be "Classical Gas" by Mason Williams? It was a hit in the 60's or 70's. You can sometimes hear it on easy listening stations. Hope that helps

Classical Gas it is! But what a horrible name for such a nice song. It just makes me think of flatulence in that hokey Taco Bell sort of way.
