who "picks up" Regis Philbin with a drink in hand, ready for
his cruise vacation. sounds like a Tom Jones song as the
backdrop music ... "life is like candy .... " fade to cruise ship on ocean...

It FEELS like a cruise commercial. It looks like a cruise commercial. I bet it even smells like a cruise commercial (fruity drinks, sea air, suntan lotion) but ALAS it is a HUMMER commercial. (Is ole Reeg promoting drinking and driving? I guess if you drive a HUMMER...) Or am I imagining the fruity drink?

You can view this ad at Hummer's website. Click on the drop down menu at the top right corner "Hummer World," and then "TV Commercials." The commercial is called "Yacht."

(Also, I changed the topic title to reflect the notice that it's for a Hummer ad, not a cruise ship. So, is that good or bad advertising -- if we don't know exactly what the ad is for?)
