Glass House The Good Mother

I'm looking for a song that was playing in the movie Glass House: The Good Mother on Lifetime. It was during a scene while the family was in the car towards the beginning. The words are something like:
" ........another day, another day. All things as they say on another day. Oh and so it goes, oh and we both know.."
It was slow, sung by a male, singer/songwriter-type, with a guitar.
