Classical Song

a few weeks ago on smallville, lex luther was playing the following song on the piano for only a very short period of time...

i got the midi file from an old game of mine (chessmaster). its obviously a classical song so it is now in the public domain and the name most likely has the word preulde in it but does anyone know the full name of it and who composed it?
