the guy from u2 bono sang a song for bill clinton's opening of his library. it was raining when he sung it and he held an umbrella. someone else maybe "the edge" was playing to paino next to him. it was on live television a few months back. the commentators said that, i think i remember, that it was writting recently and it was a patriatoc type song. if anyone could help me identfy the name of this song id be oh so very happy.
 
I think you're looking for The Hands That Built America which was originally written by U2 for the movie 'Gangs of New York' (Track 4).

They also played 'Sunday Bloody Sunday' and the Beatles' classic, 'Rain' .
 
hmm doesnt sound as good as i thought it would, happend a few months ago... :cry:
