The discovery channel was airing a commercial advertising the playing time of the show (The Battle For Rome) tonight. I was wondering if anyone knows the name of the song used? It is a soft religious chant type of song.

No, I have not yet gotten a response from the discovery channel website. I emailed them a question a couple weeks ago. They said they try and respond within one week but there goes that rule. I'm going to email them again.

Heres the link to contact them if you want to do the same. Maybe with more people we will get a response.

Its been awhile, but the Battle For Rome promos sounded a lot like E.S. Posthumus, particularly the track "Pompeii". Check it out: http://www.esposthumus.com/
Yeah, I thought it might be by E.S. Posthumus too. I have the Pompeii song which does have the chants in it. I haven't heard the song in the commercial for awhile, but I remember it being a softer song than Pompeii. Thanks for the idea though. I'll have to hear it again or wait till someone posts it on youtube because the people at discovery.com are unresponsive after many months and attempts to contact them.
