Human nature being what it is most newbies don't read the rules etc first and plunge right in with their question.One way to help reduce the number of questions
about products with under four characters might be to give a brief explanation and example right underneath the Search box - there seems to be room...Whatcha think?

It might also be helpful to set the default for 'Search posts from......' to 'Any date' as again most people (including me!) just fill in the search terms and hit Enter.

Thanks for the suggestions, which is probably the most popular request I've heard from others. We are currently working to revise and make our Search page more efficient.
